Three people arrived today looking for an “Irish Learning Podcast”. This may actually be beneficial for people to re-embrace the Irish language through this means. Maybe people in their thirties or forties who want to gain a grasp of the Irish language so they can pass it onto their children and help them with school work.

All jokes aside I’ve been a subscriber to the “Really Learn Spanish Podcast” - http://radio.weblogs.com/0142338/ - since the first episode. The quality is very high but unfortunately the frequency is very low.
I think language tutoring will be a hugely successful area for podcasting

Even if it is even cúpla focal it might stir up a small bit of interest in the language like the adverts that Hector took part in on Today FM. I actually come into conversation with people who add in a few Irish words in their sentances which is nice to see.

I’m one who would love to see an Irish language for learners podcast. I teach Hawaiian at U of Hawai’i at Hilo, and am planning to create podcasts to supplement our online and classroom materials.
